There will be a Valentine Social on Feb. 11 at 10 am. Everyone Welcome!

All children age 3Plus are welcome to be dropped off for some play time, sensory play and social time. A healthy snack will be provided. This program takes place at the Kids First room at St. Mary’s Education Centre/Academy. Please use Memorial Place entrance.

Parent/Tot Drop In- Kids First Program

Wednesdays 9:30-11:30am at the SMECA Kids First room. Use Memorial Place entrance. All parents/caregivers and children age birth to six years are welcome.

The PTA will be hosting a "Sweethearts Ball"-a family dance with kid friendly music. This event will also include various stations- (lego, playdough, coloring, etc.), concessions, photo booth, etc. Although not essential, attendees are welcome to dress-up formally/semi-formally.

To honor Maud Lewis, the Sherbrooke Library will be showing the movie Maudie Fri, Feb 15th at 10am.

Maud Lewis, Show, Tell and Do – her life, really looking at her paintings and then an opportunity to try your hand at copying one of her famous paintings. Feb 16 10:30 – 12:30. Storm date is Feb 23 10:30 – 12:30.

On Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019 the local branches of Women’s Institute will host the annual “Crafting for a Cause Day” at the Indian Harbour Lake/Jordanville Community Centre starting at 9:30. All interested are cordially invited to join us for a great day.
We tie quilts for Shelters, make pillows for post-surgery patients, and collect items for IWK and Shelters.
This year we will learn how to make a “Fidget Blanket” for Alzheimer Patients.
A pot-luck lunch will be served, and a great social day is expected. Bring your glasses, scissors, and favorite needles etc.
