House League Hockey will be doing a bottle drive on Saturday, February 29th. Donations can be dropped off at the Recplex by 2:00pm. If you have bottles that you would like picked up prior to this date, please phone David Jordan 902-968-1190.
The Sea Shore Volunteer Fire Auxiliary is hosting a Trivia Night on February 29th from 7-10 at the Port Bickerton Community Centre. Get your teams of 3 or 4 together and come test how much you know! $10 per person, with the proceeds going to the Playspace Project. Ages 15+, bar will be open.
Kids First:
All children age 3 as of Dec. 31/19 and up are welcome to come to a two hour drop-off play-based program from 9:30-11:30am. A healthy snack will be provided. For more info call or text Paula at 902-870-7437 or message the St. Mary’s Programming Facebook page.

Sea Shore Volunteer Fire Auxiliary
The newly established fire auxiliary is looking for new members to join our committee. The auxiliary is working towards completion of the play space project (including half pipe) but is also interested in maintaining and improving the ball field and supporting the fire department. If you are interested in learning more, please come out to our next meeting on January 14th. The auxiliary meets on the second Tuesday of each month. We wish to advise the Goldenville Heritage Society will host a St. Patrick's Day Boiled Ham Supper at the Lion's Hall starting at 5:30 on Saturday March 14th. Cost is $12.00 a person. The Country Harbour Gun Club will be having a Country Breakfast - March 21, 2020 from 8:30am to 10:00am. Adults $10 each, Children $3. The Country Harbour Gun Club will be hosting a Trivia/Pub Night on Saturday, March 14, 2020 beginning at 8pm; Doors will open at 7pm. Teams of 4 people and $10 per team to enter. Must be 19 years or older

This year it falls on Thursday, April 22nd. What better way to acknowledge this day than by making the Port Hilford area even more beautiful? Join us for a roadside/beach clean-up from 9:30-12:30 on the 22nd. Even if you can donate an hour, our planet will be grateful for the gift of your time and your care. You do not need to be a resident of Port Hilford to participate. Everyone is welcome back to 2889 Highway 211 (home of D. Banks) at 1:00 for bite to eat. If interested, join us at the Port Hilford Beach parking lot at 9:30. Please bring gloves, safety jacket and garbage bags.
