Beach Day- Kids First Program:

Kids First is taking Drop-in on the road to Port Hillford Beach. All parents/caregivers and children are welcome to join Paula for some fun in the sun!! Snacks and beach toys will be provided. Bring sun screen. Funding for transportation will be available.

Saturday, August 3 - COUNTRY HERITAGE DRIVING DAY –The Sporting Day focuses on traditional horse and carriage driving and includes three phases: Turnout Inspection, a Country Drive with several driving challenges 10 am - 3 pm.

Musical selections from Max MacDonald, Mike Porter, Joey Jordan, Donald & Katie Brushett and friends. Light refreshments to follow. Goodwill donations will be accepted for continued maintenance on this historic building. Hope you can make it to the school house in Port Hilford heading across the bridge on the Wine Harbour Road!

Family Camping Trip- Kids First Program:
August 13th rain date August 14th
A family camping trip will be taking place at Nimrods Campground in Stillwater. Up to 10 families will be registered. We would encourage any families who have not camped before to sign up. Kids First has a number of tents and air mattresses to lend. This is a great way to try camping with your children without having the cost of purchasing the supplies. Registration is now open for the 32nd annual Guysborough County 55+ Games at the Liscombe Lodge. The games will take place on August 21st and 22nd this year. Enjoy some of your favorite games, lots of laughs and a beautiful visit to the Liscombe Lodge Resort and Conference Centre. Registration forms are available at the Municipal Office.
