Today municipal flags are at half mast to commemorate the 2020 Mass Casualty that occurred in Nova Scotia. Please take a moment to remember those who tragically lost their lives, honor the survivors, and reflect on what occurred in our province three years ago. Remembering and reflecting may impact people in different ways. Please if you are in need of emotional support can call 211 to reach a community resource navigator who can connect them with help. Happy National Volunteer Week! This year, National Volunteer Week takes place from April 16th - 21st, 2023. This year's theme is "Volunteering Weaves us Together." St. Mary's is fortunate to have so many who give back to their community through volunteerism. Over the next week, we will share with you ways in which the Municipality will recognize the accomplishments of volunteers and it's plans to support volunteerism over the next year. Keep an eye out for more posts and an email that will be sent to non-profit organizations throughout the Municipality.

The Community Development and Recreation Department will be developing a usage calendar for the St. Mary's Fitness Centre in an effort to assist users.
