Community Development & Recreation
The Municipality of the District of St. Mary's has a long history of engaging residents in meaningful recreation experiences. It is our goal to provide programs and services that help to improve the overall wellbeing of residents of all ages and abilities.
Active Transportation refers to any form of human powered transportation such as walking, cycling, using a wheelchair, skateboarding or snowshoeing. The Municipality is working on an Active Transportation Plan to connect Old Road Hill to Hwy. 7 and Main Street. Improving accessibility will provide opportunities for safe travel for visitors and residents.
