Happy Earth Day St. Mary's! Thanks to the Nova Scotia Department of Natural Resources and Renewables, we are giving away free tree seedlings at the Municipal Office, 8296 Hwy. 7, from April 22-26th. Stop by and pick up yours between the hours of 8:30am - 4:00pm.

Thank you to all our participants who took part in our Winter Walking Challenge. As a group, you walked 5,946,786 steps! Municipality of the District of St. Mary’s unveils commissioned artwork to commemorate victims and survivors of residential schools in Canada.           

Sherbrooke N.S. – The Municipality of the District of St. Mary’s will mark an important milestone in its efforts towards Truth and Reconciliation on Wednesday, April 17th, 2024. An original piece of artwork that will serve to recognize the impact of residential schools in Canada will be officially unveiled at the Municipal Office following a meeting of council.
