The Divert NS Champion of the Environment Scholarship has just opened for high school graduates of 2025. 
Divert NS is offering up to $28,000 in scholarships to Nova Scotia Grade 12 students with a keen interest in the environment. 8X $2,500 8X $1,000 scholarships are available for 2025.

  • Seven (7) 42,500 and Seven (7) $1,000 regional scholarships are available based on solid waste regions.
  • One (1) $2,500 and one (1) $1,000 French language scholarships are being offered. 
  1. Review the application package (available in both English and French)
  2. Write a summary of their recent environment activities
  3. Obtain a letter of reference from someone in their school or community
  4. Write a research essay focusing on this year's topic
  5. Complete their contact form
