The Guysborough Community Health Board is looking for Volunteer Members. The Board is dangerously close to not having enough members to operate. This would be a great loss of community voice.The Volunteer commitment is 8 meetings a year between September and June.  The members have a choice of joining in person or on zoom. Members can be anywhere from High School students in grade 10 and up to seniors.   The Board covers all expenses like travel and childcare for the volunteers to attend meetings.   We work with the community (mostly community groups and organizations). On priority area such as Food Security, Poverty, Social Inclusion and  Early Childhood Development.
