Request For Proposals
The Municipality of the District of St. Mary's is currently inviting request for proposals(RFP's) for the "Supply of an Ultraviolet Disinfection Unit" and for the "Supply of Aeration Equipment". Fire Ban
Please take note that the provincewide fire ban has been extended to include backyard firepits as well as bush and other open fires. The fire risk is high because of dry conditions, winds and low humidity. Check before you burn. Restrictions are updated daily at 2 pm at novascotia.ca/burnsafe.
Fall 2020 Municipal Election
The Province announced this week that the Fall 2020 Municipal Elections will take place on October 17th, 2020 as scheduled in Nova Scotia. The Municipality will explore the various options afforded by the Municipal Elections Act to ensure a safe and democratic election that conforms with public health directives, if necessary. Additional information on the 2020 election including being added to the voters list and polling details will be provided over the next couple of months.
