Development Project Coordinator

The Municipality has recently applied for a Community Works grant through the Province of Nova Scotia.  This grant will provide funding to hire a Development Project Coordinator on a one year term with the possibility of extension.  Hiring this position is dependent on the Municipality receiving the grant funding and the term is anticipated to run from February 3rd, 2020 to Mid-December 2020.

Notice from Eastern Shore Cartage: Due to the impending storm, garbage collection scheduled for Wednesday, January 8th will now take place on Friday, January 10th.

The municipality is selling a 4 cylinder, gas powered McCormick International 434 Tractor Series, showing 1875 hours. It has a 3 point hitch, and comes with a Model TMA 80” Zamboni all were store indoors. Bids will be accepted until January 13th at noon with a minimum bid of $4500 plus HST. Where is, as is and the delivery will be at the expense of the purchaser. Full purchase price to be paid within 3 business days from the successful award and buyer has 1-2 weeks to remove the machine from the facility.
