There is a housing data gap in Nova Scotia.
The Canadian Mortgage and Housing corporation is the main source of housing data in Canada. However, they only collect data for municipalities of 10,000 people or more, which includes vacancy rates and rental prices. 67% of municipalities in Nova Scotia have populations smaller than 10,000. It misses the housing needs of many.

There is a wide spectrum of housing needs across the province. To draw the path towards affordable, suitable and adequate housing for all Nova Scotians, we want to hear from YOU. What are your housing needs? Complete the Nova Scotia Housing Needs Assessment Public Survey at
