IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM NOVA SCOTIA POWER FOR RESIDENCE OF specific areas of Municipality of the District of St. Mary's .
Please be advised that Nova Scotia Power will be conducting the urgent replacement of poles on a transmission structure in the Sherbrooke area on Tuesday, August 20 from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm (12 hours, approximate). Due to the location, terrain and nature of this work, it must be done during daylight hours for the safety of crews. We have also had to install swamp mats in order to access the site and safely conduct this work.
This will impact customers in the St. Mary's, Bickerton, Indian Harbour, Goshen, Sherbrooke, Country Harbour, Fisherman’s Harbour, Sonora and surrounding areas. Key accounts and commercial customers are being notified and all customers will receive a callout campaign. It will be added to our external facing planned outages page with a map of affected areas, which has also been attached to this email.
