Wednesday, May 10th is Nova Scotia Walk Day. The Municipality of the District of St. Mary’s is challenging organizations in St. Mary’s to participate in a group walk to help celebrate the occasion. The Municipal Office will be closed over lunch, from 12-12:30pm, on Wednesday, May 10th for staff to participate in a group walk. Individuals looking to participate in a NS Walk Day event can participate in one of two community events being hosted through community organizations or individuals. There is a walk starting at the parking lot entrance to the Sherbrooke Village and the trail head near the McKeen Lake Lodge, located off Highway 7.
