The Municipality of the District of St. Mary’s hosted its annual Business Appreciation Dinner and Awards at the Sherbrooke Lion’s Club Hall on Thursday October 2nd, 2025.

The event recognized the wide range of businesses that make our community strong, from farming, forestry and fishing to wood products and manufacturing, construction to childcare, hospitality and tourism, real estate, and our many other goods and service industries.

The community was given the opportunity to nominate and vote for local businesses for achievement recognition trophies and runner-up certificates of recognition.

In opening statements, Warden James Fuller remarked that all local businesses, large or small were the life blood of our communities and thanked everyone who attended to this recognition event.
