The Covid-19 virus has been classified as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Province is undertaking affirmative action to reduce the risk of transmission of the virus. 

The Municipality of the District of St. Mary’s is committed to protecting the health and safety of our residents, councilors, staff and customers by reducing the risk of coming in contact with the Covid-19 virus.  That is why we have developed a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) that will assist in limiting potential exposure to the virus.

The Goldenville Heritage Society’s St. Patrick's Day Boiled Ham Supper at the Lion's Hall on Saturday March 14^th  will be postponed to a later date.

Due to the predicted deteriorating weather, Eastern Counties Regional Library has closed the Sherbrooke Library today, March 10th, 2020.

Nova Scotia’s health care system is actively monitoring and testing for potential cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

Good hygiene is the best defense.There are currently no vaccines available to protect against the novel coronavirus. Nova Scotians are encouraged to think about the actions they can take to stay healthy and prevent the spread of any respiratory illness, including COVID-19.
