Winter Fun Fest ALERT! There will be snacks available for the Movie Showing tomorrow, Saturday March 18th. The Movie starts at 4:15pm so be sure to bring some change and even your movie watching blanket so you can curl up and enjoy the movie “Abominable” by DREAMWORKS. This is a free activity.

Are you interested in sports? Do you want more sport opportunities brought to St. Mary's? Here is your chance to bring your ideas forward.

You are invited to attend the Let’s Talk Community Sport session on Monday, March 20th, 2023. Sport Nova Scotia and the Municipality of the District of St. Mary’s will be hosting a community conversation for locals about community sport. You are encouraged to attend and brainstorm ways to potential grown sport in the community of St. Mary’s, and learn about programs and services that Sport Nova Scotia offers.

The session will run from 6:00-8:00pm in the SHOPS Room at the St. Mary’s Education Centre/Academy. Refreshments will be served, and free childcare will be offered through the Open Gym Program.

The Count Down is ON! Winter Fun Fest this Saturday - Get out of the house and have some fun and make sure you save some time for the evening movie night - "Abominable" will be played at the Exhibit Centre with snacks available for purchase.

The Municipality is hosting this event in partnership with The Whale Sanctuary, St. Mary's District Lion's Club and all other interested community partners.

The Application for the 2023-24 Residential Low Income Property Tax Exemption is now available. 

To Qualify:
- You must be a Canadian citizen and permanent resident of St. Mary’s Municipality and
- Own the assessed property and occupy it as your home and
- Prior year’s property taxes must be paid in full
- Annual income from all sources for the previous calendar year for yourself, spouse, and other family members that reside in the same household was equal to or less than annual amount set (based on line 150 of the income tax Notice of Assessment)
