Municipal Volunteer of the Year Nominations
Home Alone Training
The Municipality is hosting a Home Alone Training program at the Greenfield Oldsters Club on June 11th. This training is being provided through the Canada Safety Council, which says: "The Home Alone Program is designed to provide children 10 years of age and older with the necessary skills and knowledge to be safe and responsible when home alone for short periods of time. It will help them understand how to prevent problems, handle real-life situations, and keep them safe and constructively occupied." The course will cost $60 per person, payments and registration of youth can be done at the Municipal Office. Deadline to register is Thursday, June 9th.
