St. Mary’s Canada day celebration. Monday, July 1st 2024 Sherbrooke, NS. Parade, food, Live music, Fun & games. parade at 4pm family fun at Sherbrooke village  from 5-9pm free entry. This event is presented in partnership with  the Government of Canada & Greg Morrow, MLA  Cet événement est présenté en partenariat avec le gouvernement du Canada et le député Greg Morrow.St. Mary’s Canada day celebration St. Mary’s Canada day celebration. 4pm: Canada Day Street Parade  Parade Route: Starting at the Recplex (164 Old Road Hill), continuing onto Main Street, turning left onto Court Street, turning right onto Sonora Road and turning left into Sherbrooke Village, ending in the Sherbrooke Village Parking Lot.    5-9pm: Opening Ceremony & Family Fun at Sherbrooke Village Performance Centre Field.   There will be inflatables, a Kids Zone with face painting, a coloring contest and other activities, a Splash Zone with water activities, and live music with an open mic from 5-6:30pm and the band HUSH will play from 6:30 – 9pm.    6pm: Loonie Bingo at Sherbrooke Village Exhibit Center .  9pm: Fireworks at Sherbrooke Village Performance Center field, if permitted.   A decision will be made based on the Provincal Fire Restrictions and will be posted to the Municipal Website & Facebook Page at 2:05pm.  Food will be available for purchase from the St. Mary’s District Lion’s Club & Worths Concession Stand!
