The St. Mary's Canada Day Parade will take place on Saturday, July 1st in Sherbrooke. Floats can begin to line up at the St. Mary's Recplex at 3:30pm. You don't need to pre-register a float to participate, just show up! Parade viewing can take place along Old Road Hill, Highway 7 and Main Street. The Parade will travel from the St. Mary's Recplex to the Sherbrooke Village starting at 4pm. This event is rain or shine! Please note, traffic will be impacted during this time. Thank you to the Sherbrooke & Area Volunteer Fire Department for performing traffic control.

There will be a scavenger hunt at the Sherbrooke Saturday Market from 9am-12pm. Two live reptile shows hosted by A&D Reptiles & Friends. A Municipal Street Parade starting at 4pm. Live music by Hush, children's entertainment, vendors, Canada Day treats and a Kids Corner at the Sherbrooke Village Performance Centre Field. Finally, an energizer activity to keep you moving right through until Fireworks! There is something for everyone at the Municipality's Canada Day Celebrations.

The Community Development and Recreation Department is still looking for local organizations and businesses to participate in the Canada Day Street Parade. The more participation, the better the parade! Call 902-522-2598 to register your float! Everyone is welcome, and if you don't find the time to register, please still join us at 3:30pm at the Recplex with your float.
