Due to impending weather conditions, all programs scheduled for tomorrow, February 3rd, will be cancelled. This includes the Learn to Skate program, House League Hockey, and the Free Skate. This session of Learn to Skate will be made up at a later date, to be determined.

Ice hockey/skating sledges are now available to use, free of charge, at the St. Mary's RecPlex. 2 sledges are available, one child medium/adult small and one adult medium. Sledges include push handle for guardians to assist with use, or adaptive hockey sticks for self-propelled use. Sledges have telescopic noses to adjust for leg length. Ask RecPlex staff about usage. The purchase of this adaptive equipment was made possible by Recreation Nova Scotia through their equipment loan grant.

The Municipality of the District of St. Mary’s has deemed a Vision Fitness T9800 Treadmill (Est. year 2006) surplus and will be selling by sealed bid. Treadmill is where is, as is and the pick-up will be at the expense of the purchaser. Full purchase price to be paid within 3 business days from the successful award and buyer has 2 weeks to remove the machine from the facility.  Bids can be submitted in person, at the Municipal Office located at 8296 Hwy. 7, Sherbrooke.
