Honouring Two Employees for their long service to the Municipality
At Committee of the Whole on Wednesday January 7th, 2026, the Municipality of the District of St. Mary's recognized two staff members: Marian Fraser, Director of Finance/Treasurer with 20 years of employment with the Municipality and Mallory Tibbo, Director of Community Development and Recreation with five years of employment with the Municipality.
Learn to Skate Program – Registration Now Open
The Municipality of the District of St. Mary’s is pleased to offer a Learn to Skate program for children this winter at the St. Mary’s Recplex.
This 12-week program is designed to introduce children to ice skating in a fun, supportive, and safe environment. Participants will build basic skating skills, improve balance and coordination, and gain confidence on the ice. Whether it’s their first time stepping onto skates or they are looking to improve foundational skills, this program offers an engaging experience for young skaters of all abilities.
Program Details:
- Dates: Every Tuesday from January 13 to March 31, 2026
- Time: 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
- Location: St. Mary’s Recplex, 164 Old Road Hill, Sherbrooke
- Ages: 3–12
- Cost: $60 per participant
Spaces are limited and advance registration is required.
