Warden, Council and staff at the Municipality of the District of St. Mary’s are deeply saddened by the tragic events that occurred this weekend in Portapique, Colchester County. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims of this horrific act and we want to extend our support and well wishes to the community.

The Warden, Council and Staff would like to wish all residents of the Municipality of St. Mary’s a safe and happy Easter weekend and thank the essential services workers for their dedication and hard work throughout this difficult time.

During this weekend, please continue to respect the Health and Safety protocols and social distancing protocols put in place during Covid-19.

Videos can come from any age and can feature any form of talent or even just a positive message for the community. Your only limit is your creativity. All those who submit a video will be entered into a draw for a gift card package to local businesses and will be rewarded at a later date.
