The Active Living Coordinator will be responsible for the organization of a wide variety of municipal programs, activities and events. The Active Living Coordinator will develop policies to enable residents to be more active in their everyday life and create relationships with organizations committed to active living within the municipality.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

MUNICIPALITY OF THE DISTRICT OF ST. MARY'S

TAKE NOTICE that the Municipality of the District of St. Mary's will hold a Public Hearing to consider an application to amend the Land Use By-law.

The purpose of the proposed amendment is to rezone portions of property located at 3925 Highway 7, Sherbrooke (PID 37503547) as follows:

  • Approximately 18 acres from the Rural Resource Zone to the General Commercial Zone; and
  • Approximately 5 acres from the Rural Resource Zone to the Mixed-Use Zone.

The Public Hearing will be held on:

July 30, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

Sherbrooke, Nova Scotia

Council will hear submissions from any interested persons. Written submissions may be provided by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. no later than 4:00 p.m. on July 29, 2026. Written submissions received by the deadline will form part of the public record and will be considered by Council.
