2020 Municipal Elections Candidates
Please be advised that the following is a list of Elections and Acclamations in the Municipality of the District of St. Mary’s by District as of 5:00pm, Sept. 8th, 2020 at the close of nominations. This list will not be official until 4:00pm on Sept. 9th, 2020, which is the final day to withdrawal.
Property Tax Sale By Sealed Tender
Notice is hereby given, in accordance with the Municipal Government Act, Part 6 Section 143(4), that the Municipality of the District of St. Mary’s is inviting sealed tenders for the following property:
- AAN# 02084341, PID # 35120336, Assessed to Clement Fleet, 2020 Resource Assessment $2,500, 1659 Hwy #7, Marie Joseph, Lot 1, Containing 5,000 sq. feet, more or less, land only. Minimum Bid: $3,500, Non-Redeemable
- AAN #00991082, PID #37528387, Assessed to Clara J Christofferson, 168 Hwy 7, Ecum Secum, 2020 Assessed Value $27,400 (Residential Taxable), Containing 2.0 acres, more or less, land and dwelling. Minimum Bid: $2,500, Non-Redeemable

Tenders shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to the undersigned and shall be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope “PROPERTY TAX SALE BY TENDER”. Bidders shall complete the “Tender Form” for the property. Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use Bylaw Review
The municipality is embarking on a Municipal Planning Strategy (MPS) and Land Use Bylaw (LUB) review and will be holding community visioning workshops on August 19, 2020 at the St. Mary’s RecPlex. The planning consultants for this project, Fathom Studio, will lead the workshop session to gather feedback from the community.The municipality is embarking on a Municipal Planning Strategy (MPS) and Land Use Bylaw (LUB) review and we welcome business owners to participate in a community visioning workshop on August 19 at 4:00pm and residents at 6:30pm at the St. Mary’s RecPlex.
