Become a Member! Artworks East (AWE) is an association of visual artists and crafters who live in Guysborough County founded in 2019.
We welcome local artisans of all ages and levels of experience as well as those who want to support the visual arts in our area.
Memberships are $10.00 for your first year, and $25.00 for any year following. Perks to membership, whether a visual artist or supportive member, may include;
- Being on the email list of workshops and events
- Staying informed on community events and contributions
- Supporting all ages in visual arts
- Sell your art in our summer gallery (July - September) with a low commission of 10%
- Being featured on the website (www.artworkeast.ca)
- Sell your art on the website (free e-commerce page)
- Opportunity to be paid for hosting workshops
- Free advertising and exposure
- Community engagement
