Friendly Community Reminder: St. Mary's "Sir Hops a Lot" Easter Bunny is excited and looking forward to seeing everyone this Saturday, April 8th at 11:00am for the St. Mary's Easter Egg Hunt. This event is being hosted by the Municipality of the District of St. Mary's in Partnership with Sherbrooke Village, The Whale Sanctuary & Sanctuary Shore General Store. The Municipality would like to thank all the community members who have graciously donated chocolate treats and prizes towards the event.

Please arrive for 11:00am and have yourselves and your littles meet the Easter Bunny in front of the Sherbrooke Village Exhibit Building before the official opening of the event. Please do not start collecting "Sir Hops a Lots" eggs until the announcement has been made that the event has officially opened.

The 2023-24 Municipal Operating Budget was passed yesterday at the Annual General Meeting of Council.

Registration is NOW OPEN for Happy Feet! Register today to reserve a spot.

Happy feet is a free running program designed to get children moving and inspire them to be active for life. This program is for participants in grades primary – 3. This is a free program taking place on Thursday's from 2:30-4:00 pm starting on May 4th till June 8th at SMECA. The program will be held outside when weather permits.

An outdoor program for youth in grades 3-6. This program is designed to allow children to explore nature on their own terms. It will focus on exploring and learning about St. Mary’s beautiful nature setting through discussions and play. This is a free program taking place on Wednesday’s from 2:30-4:00 pm starting on May 3rd till June 7th at SMECA.
