Happy Canada Day St. Mary's!

We are very excited to be hosting celebrations today starting with a Street Parade from the St. Mary's Recplex at 164 Old Road Hill and travelling down Main Street and into the Sherbrooke Village. Traffic Control is being managed by the Sherbrooke RCMP Detachment and the Sherbrooke and Area Volunteer Fire Department. It's not too late to enter a float. Line-up will take place at 3:30 at the Recplex parking lot. For families enjoying the parade, please view from the shoulder of the road.

The fun will continue at the Sherbrooke Village Performance Centre Field with bouncy houses, face painting, kids games, Canada Day Cookies (thanks to Sherbrooke Opportunities Society - SHOPS) and live entertainment by the Night Owls! Be sure to bring some chairs from home or a blanket as seating is limited. Done forget to have some cash on hand for the St. Mary's District Lion's Club BBQ.

Thank you to our community partners: Sherbrooke Village, St. Mary's District Lion's Club, Sherbrooke RCMP and the Sherbrooke and Area Volunteer Fire Department.

The Municipality would like to acknowledge the Government of Canada's support for St. Mary’s Canada Day Celebrations.

The evening will end with a firework display at dusk.

Community Posting: There will be an Adult Dance at the St. Mary's District Lion's Hall this evening (July 1st) from 9pm-1am with music by Craig Robertson.
