Road Notifications
Please be advised that the following roads may be impacted:
- Washouts/flooding on Highway# 7 between Goshen and Sherbrooke.
- Washouts/flooding on Highway 316 in the area of Cheese Factory Road.
- Old Country Harbour Road- Closed.
- Cameron Settlement to Guysborough-Pictou County Line- Please be advised Route 348 from Smithfield to Sunny Brae will be closed due to downed trees.
- Old Country Harbour Road, Route 316 at EightIsland Lake to RTE 316 at Argyle.
- Hendsbee Road Route 316 to Hendsbee Farm

Community Supplies / Space
The Municipality is currently redistributing microwavable VON meals from SHOPS and some milk products from Shoppers until they are gone. Residents are welcome to pick them up at the Municipal Office between 8:30am and 4:00pm. The municipal community room will also be available for residents that would like to heat up a meal or recharge devices.
St. Mary's Municipal Transfer Station
The St. Mary's Municipal Transfer Station will be open today, September 27th, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday 9:00 am - 4:30 pm to accept brush and construction & demolition waste only.
The Transfer Station will be closed on Friday, September 30th for National Day of Truth & Reconciliation.
Temporary Closure- Emergency Department- St. Mary's Memorial Hospital
The emergency department at St. Mary's Memorial Hospital in Sherbrooke will be closed from 7pm tonight, September 25th until 7am Monday, September 26th.
